The Punch is based on Tata’s ALFA architecture which was first used in the Altroz and just like the Altroz the Punch gets 90-degree opening doors and a flat floor on the inside which will surely increase its interior space and coming and going out of the car will be very easy.

When compared to its main rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Ignis and Mahindra KUV 100, which started the micro SUVish segment, the Tata Punch in terms of dimensions is the longest and widest has the longest wheelbase and even have the highest ground clearance. Having a much higher grille, upright stance and body cladding all around, it has the most SUV look compared to the rivals.
