Tata Motors has launched a new variant of their entry-level hatchback called the Tata Tiago Limited addition to its line-up and it is priced at Rs 5.79 Lakh(ex-showroom, Delhi). What’s New on the Tiago Limited Edition?
The Tata Tiago Limited Edition is an addition to Tata Motors’ entry-level hatchback line-up. There is no major design changes on the exterior but the most noticeable new exterior design element is the addition of 14-inch black coloured alloy wheels while the standard Tiago XT and XZ variants runs on 14-inch steel wheels with wheel covers and the top-spec XZ+ and XZA trims gets larger 15-inch alloys.
The Limited Edition Model is based on the mid-spec XT variant and gets all safety kit and equipment. But it also gets additional features like on-board navigation system, voice commands for the 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman and a rear parcel tray, follow-me-home headlights, 4 speakers, all-round power windows, keyless entry, power-folding and adjustable ORVMs and steering mounted audio controls to name a few.
Mechanically there are no changes made and the Tiago Limited Edition like the XT variant it is based on is offered with 1.2-litre petrol engine making 86 HP is paired to a 5-speed manual as standard, there is no option for any automatic gearbox. While higher-spec XZA and XZA+ trims come with an option of AMT gearbox.
