Lamborghini recently announced about the sales of their Super SUV Urus which has crossed 100 units mark in India. While most buyers opted for a sportier colour scheme for their Urus instead of going for colours like white and shades of grey, with yellow being the most common choice. And looking at this fact and demand Lamborghini has launched the Urus Pearl Capsule Edition for Rs 3.43 crore in India.

While Lamborghini offers loads of customization options for their cars, the Lamborghini Urus Pearl Capsule Edition is a factory configured version of the Urus Super SUV which is available in a dual-tone paint scheme and also gets additional bits as a package over the standard Urus. The most noticeable element offered is the selection of exclusive pearl paints and style elements that specifically showcase the bright colors of Lamborghini heritage. There are three unique paint options on offer namely – GialloInti (yellow), Verde Mantis (lime green) and Arancio Borealis (orange). While the whole lower half of the car including the body skirting, wheel cladding, outside wing mirrors, roof and fenders are finished in contrasting gloss black. It also comes with 23-inch gloss black wheels with body-colored lips. Another exterior styling element that it gets is on the quad exhaust tips which are now finished in matte Silver.
Coming to the interior, it also gets the same dual-tone colour treatment to match the exterior. The sports seats come wrapped in two-tone Alcantara, and there is also option to gets contrasting stitching.
While the feature list and the layout is carried over from the standard Urus (which is not standard by any means) and features signature Lamborghini hexagonal patterns, but unique to the Pearl Capsule edition it gets URUS stitched into the backrest of the seats along with the Lamborghini logo embroidered into headrests. Also features black anodized trims along with carbon fiber bits all over in the interior to make it unique.
Coming to the powertrain, it has remained unchanged and under the hood is a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine which is tuned to produce 650HP and 850NM of torque. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox in a 40:60 (rear-biased) split. With this powertrain, the 2.2 tonne super SUV can reach top speeds of up to 305kph and can do a 0-100kph sprint in just 3.6 seconds making it one of the fastest production SUV on sale currently.
While the Standard Lamborghini Urus is priced at Rs 3.15 crore (ex-showroom, India), the Lamborghini Urus Pearl Capsule Edition is priced at Rs 3.45 Crore (ex-showroom, India). It rivals up against other super SUVs like the recently Launched Aston Martin DBX.
