The Jeep Compass facelift launched in India at Rs 16.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 28.29 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The 2021 Jeep Compass Facelift got new front styling, new interior layout, more tech and features and is offered in 4 trims. A special 80th-Anniversary Edition Jeep Compass will also be available for a limited period of time and its price ranges from Rs 22.96-26.76 lakh(Ex-Showroom). Jeep Compass facelift Styling
The only visible exterior change that the New Jeep Compass Facelift has got is its newly revised front design and a new dark green paint scheme. The changes include newly designed slimmer LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs, updated signature Jeep seven-slat front grille, a new front bumper with a larger air intake, new fog light housings and new alloy wheels design.
Coming to the interior of the new Jeep Compass facelift , it gets a completely new design dashboard layout, with a new floating type large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display below which are placed new slim AC vents and HVAC controls. Basically the whole interior is new with use of soft touch materials and buttons. The interior now gets double-stitched leather inserts on the dashboard, a newly designed three-spoke steering wheel and a new cockpit styled 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.
2021 Jeep Compass Facelift Features and equipment list
Coming to the feature list of the new Jeep Compass facelift, the top-spec Model S variant is equipped with a 10.1-touchscreen infotainment display that comes with FCA’s latest UConnect 5 infotainment system with integrated Amazon Alexa support, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity features. The system is also capable for future updates with OTA(Over-The-Air) updates. Other features like all LED headlights a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, a 360-degree parking camera, premium soft touch material, leather upholstery, powered tailgate, 8-way adjustable front seats with ventilation, and newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels.
Safety features on the top trim includes set of 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, emergency brake assist, traction control, ESC, hill-start assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts and parking sensor for both front and rear.
Engine and drivetrain options
The New Jeep Compass facelift gets the same drivetrain options like the pre-facelift model. It is powered by 2.0-litre diesel engine making 173 HP and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine making 163HP. Both the engines are offered with the option of six-speed manual gearbox as standard. There are also automatic gearbox options with the petrol engine getting the option of a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and the diesel a nine-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The new Compass Facelift with diesel engine also comes with 4×4 option along with driving modes.
New Jeep Compass facelift Competition
Like before Jeep Compass facelift will rival against the likes of the Tata Harrier, new MG Hector , current gen Mahindra XUV 500, Skoda Karoq and Hyundai Tucson. Like the outgoing model the new Jeep Compass facelift will also get a more off-read Trailhawk varint in coming months.
