Honda WR-V facelift prices will be revealed on July 2, 2020. The launch of the 2020 WR-V facelift has delayed due to recent events of coronavirus pandemic and is now expected to take place online only.
1. Cosmetic changes and a re-jigged variant line-up are among the major changes
2. BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engine options to be on offer
3. Honda WR-V facelift prices to be revealed on July 2

 What’s new?

Visually, the 2020 WR-V gets a mild update, which does succeed in keeping the model looking fresh. New design elements include more pronounced creases on the front bumper, the new grille with horizontal slats, and new LED projector headlights and LED tail-lights. Like previous model the WR-V will get roof rails, 16-inch alloy wheels and LED DRLs but with a different touch.
In terms of features, not many changes are expected; the most obvious differences will be seen in the updated fabric patterns and upholstery. Honda car is expected to provide 2020 WR-V with only two trims SV and VX – both will be equipped well.
The entry-level WR-V SV is expected to get features such as dual front airbags, a rear defogger, a rear parking camera, 16-inch alloy wheels, projector headlights, LED DRLs, driver’s seat height adjust, power-folding and adjustable ORVMs, power windows, automatic climate control, the 7.0-inch Digipad 2.0 touchscreen infotainment interface, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility and SD card-based navigation.
The top-spec WR-V VX will add a rear wiper LED headlights, tail-lights and fog lights, a front center armrest, cruise control, keyless entry and go, a leather-wrapped steering and a powered sunroof.

2020 Honda WR-V Mechanical changes?

Except for the significant upgrades required to meet BS6 emission norms, the 2020 WR-V is expected to be identical to the pre-facelift model. In BS6 form, the 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine and the 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine are already used on the Amaze compact sedan. Manual gearboxes are standard on both but no automatic option is expected on the WR-V facelift as of now. In diesel-manual guise, the WR-V is expected to be more fuel-efficient than compact SUV rivals like the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, Suzuki Brezza and Mahindra XUV300 and other competitors in the market
Prices are expected to increase by a fair bit over the outgoing model to Rs 8.3-9.4 lakh for the petrol WR-V, while diesel WR-V is expected in the Rs 9.7-10.8 lakh bracket. A 3-year/unlimited-kilometer warranty is expected to be as standard as well.
