Dacia Duster SUV in its second-gen avatar is revealed for the European market which received a mid-life facelift. As a part of the facelift, the 2022 Duster receives minor styling updates and a few more equipment to bring it in line with newer models from the maker.

2022 Dacia Duster SUV: whats new?
For 2022, Dacia has updated the Duster SUV and it now gets mild exterior design updates like new Y-shaped DRLs for the LED headlights and a chrome grille that differentiates it from the current model. The SUV is now fitted with LED indicators at front for the first time, which are more efficient as per Dacia. At the rear the taillight also gets Y-shped LED treatment to go with overall design It now comes with more aerodynamically efficient 16-inch and 17-inch wheels options, there is also a new spoiler and together with new wheel bearings, tyres and the efficient LED lights, Dacia has claimed that it has help cut CO2 emissions by 5.8g/km on the all-wheel-drive Duster. Lastly the exterior gets a new colour
The interior also gets mild update and now gets new material for the upholstry, new headrests, and a redesigned center console with a sliding armrest that now gets a deep 1.1-litre storage space, there’s also an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration as standrard option across all variants and also comes with built-in navigation.
Some more interior features that the 2022 Dacia Duster SUV gets are wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 4×4 monitor in the all-wheel-drive verison that displays an inclinometer, altimeter, and compass to name a few.
2022 Dacia Duster SUV Powertrain Details
The new Dacia Duster under it hood gets a range of petrol and diesel engines which are market specific. Both the petrol engines (TCe 90, 130, 150) and diesel engines (dCi 115) options on the 2022 Dacia Duster can be had with a 6-speed manual gearbox for both two-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants, while there is an option of a new 6-speed DCT but it comes paired with only with the most powerful petrol engine and only available with a two-wheel-drive version.
There is also an optional petrol-LPG powertrain option called ECO-G 100 get comes with only manual gearbox. It comes with factory fitted 50-litre LPG tank for more range.
Dacia (Renault) Duster availability in India
While the second-gen Duster is being sold in the overseas market for quite some time, Renault still sells the first-generation Duster in the Indian market. If the second-gen duster was launched in India it would have been easily the highest selling car in the segment but Renault has skipped the second-gen Duster for India as the brand currently focusing on CMF modular platform-based models like the Kiger, Kwid and Triber.
For the European market the 2022 Facelifted Dacia Duster will be sold in September and there may be slight increase in the pricing than the current model.
